I ended up taking pictures of them in a chair in front of the tree in their pajamas on Christmas Eve. They turned out pretty cute so thanks for all the tips!!

Wait. What tips did you give Elly'sMommy? I am so hopeless with flash. I just cannot take a decent picture unless the lighting is natural and perfect. We're also thinking of getting a Nikon sometime in the near future. I really need to start doing my homework.
